Mike Sherrard is a NFL and college football great. He started at UCLA as a “walk-on” and left with UCLA records for most catches and yards in a career as well as most catches in a season in UCLA history. During Sherrard’s time with the team, the Bruins won three Rose Bowls and one Fiesta Bowl. Sherrard was named All-American, All-Pac 10 and All Academic Pac 10. 


After graduating from UCLA, Sherrard was the first wide receiver drafted in the first round of the NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Sherrard played eleven years in the NFL (Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants and Denver Broncos) and was part of the 1990 Super Bowl Champion 49er team. Sherrard caught touchdown passes from hall of fame quarterbacks including Joe Montana, Steve Young and John Elway. 


Following his time in the NFL, Sherrard worked with Fox Sports Net as a television color commentator mainly covering the Pac 12 and co-hosted “The Sports Zone” on ABC, Los Angeles for seven seasons.
